The staff and students at Val Jackson Elementary welcome you to spend time in the school. Whether it be five minutes or five hours, the amount of time you volunteer is determined strictly by what your schedule permits. Please consider the many opportunities to volunteer and complete the form on the following page.

Oprah’s Book Club is probably the most famous book club around…until now. Some Val Jackson book worms would like to start a Parent-Student Book Club. If you and your child are interested in participating, please leave a comment or e-mail Kim Schwerdtfeger at kschwerdtfeger@usd259.net.

Who: All Val Jackson students
Why: So you can have an evening to shop, dine out or just spend some quiet time to yourself!!! We’ll provide dinner and organized activities for the kids.
Cost: $5.00 and 1 canned food item per child
